This Thesis centers on emotional design, empathy, and design techniques. This project focuses on creating a new design framework that challenges professionals who aim to evoke emotions through their work. This framework goes beyond the aesthetics of design and emphasizes the compositional aspect of the design process. By incorporating the concepts of emotional design and empathy, this framework seeks to inspire designers to create works that function well and elicit a strong emotional response from their audiences. The project aims to encourage designers to think more deeply about their work and to push the boundaries of design to create more impactful and meaningful designs.

Thesis Abstract:
Design is not merely a physical arrangement of elements but a means to evoke emotions and connect with people. As designers, we must create spaces that serve functional purposes and leave a lasting impact on individuals. The question is whether the general public is capable of empathizing with landscapes. This thesis analyzes existing public areas based on empathy to answer this question. The objective is to comprehensively understand how designers can effectively evoke emotions and create meaningful social connections through their works. Ultimately, this study seeks to enhance landscape design by gaining insight into human emotions and relationships.
